Freeze Frame Data [07/2015 - ]

  1. DESCRIPTION 
    1. Whenever PCS DTC is detected, the driving support ECU assembly stores the current vehicle (ECU or sensor) state as Freeze Frame Data.
  2. CHECK FREEZE FRAME DATA 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
    3. Turn the Techstream on.
    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Pre-Collision 2 / Trouble Codes.
    5. According to the Techstream display, select a DTC that stored freeze frame data.
    6. Read the freeze frame data recorded when the DTC was stored.

      ON: Supplemental brake pressure being provided
      OFF: Supplemental brake pressure not being provided
      Signal status changes when supplemental brake pressure is being provided after a crash is judged as unavoidable and before the brake pedal is depressed
      Pre-Collision Brake Control Pre-collision brake operational status/
      ON or OFF
      ON: Pre-collision brake operating
      OFF: Pre-collision brake not operating
      Status changes when pre-collision brake operates before a crash
      AVS Start AVS control activation status/
      ON or OFF
