DTC Check / Clear [07/2015 - ]

HINT:

If the Techstream is connected to the vehicle with the power switch off, the information stored in smart access system with push-button start related ECUs cannot be read. However, smart access system with push-button start DTCs and Data List information can be confirmed even if the power switch is off using the following method:

When using the Techstream with the vehicle power switch off, connect the Techstream to the vehicle and turn a courtesy light switch on and off at intervals of 1.5 seconds or less until communication between the Techstream and the vehicle begins. Then select the vehicle type under manual mode and enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Smart Access. While using the Techstream, periodically turn a courtesy light switch on and off at intervals of 1.5 seconds or less to maintain communication between the Techstream and the vehicle.
Connect the Techstream to the DLC3, select the vehicle type under manual mode, and then enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Smart Access / Trouble Codes.

CHECK FOR DTC (CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY) [POWER SOURCE CONTROL])
1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Power Source Control / DTC.
5. Check for DTCs.

CHECK FOR DTC (CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY) [SMART ACCESS])
1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Smart Access / DTC.
5. Check for DTCs.

CLEAR DTC (CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY) [POWER SOURCE CONTROL])
1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Power Source Control / DTC / Clear.
5. Clear the DTCs by following the directions on the Techstream display.

CLEAR DTC (CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY) [SMART ACCESS])
1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Smart Access / DTC / Clear.
5. Clear the DTCs by following the directions on the Techstream display.
