DTC P2118: Throttle Actuator Control Motor Current Range / Performance [08/2014 - ]: Procedure

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Data List / Gas Throttle / +BM Voltage.
5. Read the value displayed on the Techstream.

CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS

1. Disconnect the ECM connectors.
2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   A60-3 (+BM) - Body ground	Always	11 to 14 V

3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   D27-19 (ME01) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω
   D27-104 (E1) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω

Result:  OK
