Terminals Of Power Management Control Ecu [08/2014 - ]

HINT: 

For the layout of the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) terminals, refer to the following (See article. Refer to TERMINALS OF ECU [08/2014 - ] ).

  1. CHECK POWER MANAGEMENT CONTROL ECU

    1. Disconnect the A20, H3 and H4 connectors.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      H4-17 (SSW2) - Body ground Input Y - Body ground SSW2 contact signal (backup for SSW1 and has same behavior as SSW1)
      HINT: 
      Backup for SSW1. Behaves the same way as SSW1.
      Power switch pushed → Power switch not pushed Below 1 Ω → 10 kΩ or higher Start Switch2
      H3-7 (SSW1) - Body ground Input B - Body ground SSW1 contact signal Power switch pushed → Power switch not pushed Below 1 Ω → 10 kΩ or higher Start Switch1

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    3. Reconnect the A20, H3 and H4 connectors.
    4. Measure the voltage and check for pulses according to the value(s) in the table below.

    5. Using an oscilloscope, check the signal waveform of the ECU.

        HINT: 

        The wavelength becomes shorter as the vehicle speed increases.
