Installation [03/2014 - ]

1. Install the 2 brackets to the ECM with the 5 screws.

2. Install the ECM with bracket with the 3 bolts.

   Torque: 8.0 N*m (82 kgf*cm, 70 in.*lbf) 

3. Connect the 2 ECM connectors and lower the 2 levers.

   NOTE:

   • When connecting the connectors, make sure that dirt, water or other foreign matter does not become stuck between the connectors and other part.
   • Make sure that the 2 levers are securely locked.
4. Install the wire harness clamp.
5. Install the wire harness clamp.

1. Install the windshield wiper motor and link assembly. Refer to INSTALLATION [03/2014 - ] .

HINT: 

Initialization cannot be completed by only disconnecting and reconnecting the cable of the negative (-) battery terminal.

1. The Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) must be input into a replacement ECM. Refer to INITIALIZATION [03/2014 - ] .
2. If the ECM has been replaced, register the ECM communication ID for the immobilizer system. Refer to INITIALIZATION [03/2014 - ] .
3. Perform Initialization when replacing the ECM See step  13.
