Terminals Of Ecu [10/2014 - 09/2017]

  1. CHECK DRIVING SUPPORT ECU ASSEMBLY

    1. Disconnect the I19 driving support ECU assembly connector.
      NOTE:

      If a load of more than 10 kg (22 lb.) is placed on the connector, it may break. Do not place more load than is necessary on the connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      I19-5 (PBSW) - Body ground G - Body ground Pre-collision system switch signal Pre-collision system switch on Below 1 Ω
      Pre-collision system switch off 10 kΩ or higher
      I19-25 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      I19-30 (B) - Body ground Y - Body ground Power source Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      Engine switch off Below 1 V

      HINT: 

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the I19 driving support ECU assembly connector.
    4. Check for pulses according to the value(s) in the table below.

      I19-17 (CA2L) - I19-25 (GND) W - W-B CAN communication signal Engine switch on (IG) Pulse generation

      I19-39 (CA2H) - I19-25 (GND) V - W-B CAN communication signal Engine switch on (IG) Pulse generation

      I19-40 (CA1P) - I19-25 (GND) L - W-B CAN communication signal Engine switch on (IG) Pulse generation

        Tool Setting 1 V/DIV., 10 μsec./DIV.
        Condition Engine switch on (IG)

        HINT: 

        The waveform varies depending on the CAN communication signal.
