DTC P010F: Mass or Volume Air Flow Sensor [10/2014 - ]: Procedure

CHECK ANY OTHER DTCS OUTPUT (IN ADDITION TO DTC P010F)

Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
Turn the engine switch on (IG).
Turn the Techstream on.
Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Trouble Codes.

Read DTCs.

Result

Display (DTC Output)	Proceed to
P010F	A
P010F and other DTCs	B

HINT:

If any DTCs other than P010F are output, troubleshoot those DTCs first.

CHECK AIR INDUCTION SYSTEM
1. Check the air induction system for vacuum leakage.
  OK
  
  No leakage from air induction system.
  
  HINT:
  
  Perform "Inspection After Repair" after repairing or replacing the air induction system. Refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2014 - ] .
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE AIR INDUCTION SYSTEM

OK: Go to next step
CHECK VENTILATION HOSE CONNECTIONS
OK

Ventilation hose is connected correctly and is not damaged.

HINT:

Perform "Inspection After Repair" after replacing the mass air flow meter. Refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2014 - ] .

OK → See step 5
GO TO DTC CHART. Refer to DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [10/2014 - ]
REPLACE MASS AIR FLOW METER (BANK 1 AND BANK 2). Refer to REMOVAL [10/2014 - ]
REPAIR OR REPLACE VENTILATION HOSE. Refer to REMOVAL [10/2014 - ]
