DTC C1581: Assist Map Number Un-Writing [04/2013 - 08/2015]: Procedure

1. Perform assist map writing.

   Refer to CALIBRATION [04/2013 - 09/2020]

   Chassis > EMPS > Utility 

   Tester Display
   Signal Check

2. Check for DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [04/2013 - 10/2016]

   Chassis > EMPS > Trouble Codes 

   Result

   Result	Proceed to
   DTC C1581 is output.	A
   DTC C1581 is not output.	B

   NOTE:

   DTC C1581 is cleared after the assist map is written.

1. Confirm if the related parts have the correct part number.

   NOTE:

   When removing a related part to check it, be sure to follow the appropriate procedures and precautions.

   • ECM
   • AVS ECU (Absorber control ECU) (w/ Adaptive Variable Suspension System)
   • VGRS ECU (Front steering control ECU) (w/ Variable Gear Ratio Steering System)

1. Replace the related parts with ones that have the correct part number.
   • ECM

   • VGRS ECU (Front steering control ECU) (w/ Variable Gear Ratio Steering System)
