Removal [04/2013 - 09/2020]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

    Refer to PRECAUTION [04/2013 - 08/2015] , or refer to PRECAUTION [08/2015 - 10/2016] , or refer to PRECAUTION [10/2016 - 10/2017] , or refer to PRECAUTION [10/2017 - 09/2020]

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

    Refer to INITIALIZATION [04/2013 - 06/2014] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [06/2014 - 08/2015] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2015 - 10/2016] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2016 - 10/2017] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2017 - 09/2020]

  3. REMOVE REAR WHEEL LH 
  4. REMOVE REAR HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the connector.

      Bolt
      Nut
    2. Disengage the clamp.
    3. Remove the 2 bolts, nut and rear height control sensor sub-assembly.
      NOTE:

      Do not drop the rear height control sensor sub-assembly. If it is dropped, replace it with a new one.
