Power Source Circuit [08/2013 - ]: Procedure
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BLIND SPOT MONITOR SENSOR LH, BLIND SPOT MONITOR SENSOR RH - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the blind spot monitor sensor LH connector.
- Disconnect the blind spot monitor sensor RH connector.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage
Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition R42-5 (BLB) - Body ground Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V R42-5 (BLB) - Body ground Engine switch off Below 1 V R43-5 (BRB) - Body ground Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V R43-5 (BRB) - Body ground Engine switch off Below 1 V - Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition R42-10 (BLGD) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω R43-10 (BRGD) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION*a Front view of wire harness connector

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

- Disconnect the blind spot monitor sensor LH connector.
- PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE. Refer to PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE [08/2013 - ]
