Removal [10/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  2. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  3. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  4. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  5. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP AND HOSE 
    1. Detach the wire harness clamp and disconnect the connector from the intake mass air flow meter sub-assembly.

    2. Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 2 ventilation hose from the air cleaner hose.
    3. Loosen the hose clamp.

    4. Unfasten the 4 hook clamps, and then remove the bolt and air cleaner cap and hose.
  6. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY 
    1. Slide the hose clamp and disconnect the No. 5 water by-pass hose from the throttle body with motor assembly.

    2. Disconnect the connector from the throttle body with motor assembly.

    3. Remove the 4 bolts, the throttle body with motor assembly and the gasket.
    4. Slide the hose clamp and disconnect the No. 4 water by-pass hose from the throttle body with motor assembly.
