Removal [09/2014 - 10/2015]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE POWER STEERING ECU ASSEMBLY 

    (Refer to REMOVAL [09/2014 - ] )

  2. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  3. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  4. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  5. DISCONNECT NO. 2 VENTILATION HOSE 

    See step  7

  6. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE 

    See step  8

  7. REMOVE BATTERY TRAY 
    1. Detach the fuel pipe clamp.
    2. Remove the 2 bolts and battery tray.

  8. SEPARATE NO. 4 ENGINE WIRE 
    1. Remove the No. 1 engine room relay block cover.
    2. Detach the 2 wire harness clamps.
    3. Remove the nut and separate the No. 4 engine wire from the No. 1 engine room junction block.

  9. DISCONNECT RELAY BLOCK ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts and nut and disconnect the relay block assembly.

  10. REMOVE AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR 
    1. for Bank 1 Sensor 1:

      Disconnect the air fuel ratio sensor connector.

    2. Detach the 2 wire harness clamps.

    3. Using SST, remove the air fuel ratio sensor.

      • SST: 09224-00010 
    4. for Bank 2 Sensor 1:

      Disconnect the air fuel ratio sensor connector.

    5. Using SST, remove the air fuel ratio sensor.
