NOTE:
  • The following inspection procedures for the parking assist monitor system are based on the assumption that the navigation system*1 or audio and visual system*2 is normal. If the navigation system*1 or audio and visual system*2 has any malfunctions, troubleshooting the navigation system*1 or audio and visual system*2 first.

    *1: for Navigation System

    *2: for Audio and Visual System (for Radio and Display Type)

  • Depending on the parts that are replaced or operations that are performed during vehicle inspection or maintenance, calibration of other systems as well as the parking assist monitor system may be needed. Refer to CALIBRATION [08/2014 - ] .

DISPLAY MALFUNCTION

Parking assist monitor display malfunction (distortion of the color/screen) occurs temporarily Check the usage conditions (explain to the customer that the display may be temporarily distorted when the vehicle is close to an object that transmits radio waves, such as a telecommunication tower, an airport or a truck equipped with a transceiver) -
