DTC P1023: Camshaft Position Signal Output "B" Circuit; DTC P2614: Camshaft Position Signal Output Circuit / Open [09/2013 - ]: Procedure

  1. REPLACE CAMSHAFT TIMING CONTROL MOTOR (for Bank 1 or Bank 2) 
    1. Replace the camshaft timing control motor. Refer to REMOVAL [09/2013 - ] .

    NEXT: Go to next step 

  2. CONFIRM WHETHER MALFUNCTION HAS BEEN SUCCESSFULLY REPAIRED 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Put the engine in inspection mode. Refer to INSPECTION MODE PROCEDURE [09/2013 - ] .
    3. Idle it for 10 seconds.
    4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Trouble Codes.
    5. Read the DTCs.
      RESULT

      Display (DTC Output) Proceed to
      No output A
      Other DTCs B

    B → See step   3 

    A → END 

  3. GO TO DTC CHART. Refer to  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [09/2013 - ]
