Rear Door LH Entry Lock Function does not Operate [09/2013 - ]: Procedure

1. When the master switch's door control switch is operated, check that the locked doors unlock. Refer to OPERATION CHECK [09/2013 - ] .

   OK

   Locked doors unlock.

NG → See step   10 

OK: Go to next step 

1. Using the Techstream, read the Data List. Refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST [09/2013 - ] .
   REAR LEFT DOOR

   Lock Position SW	Rear door LH lock position switch signal / ON or OFF	ON: Rear door LH is unlocked OFF: Rear door LH is locked	-

   On the Techstream screen, item changes between ON and OFF according to above chart.

OK: Go to next step 

1. Using the Techstream, read the Data List. Refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST [09/2013 - ] .

OK: Go to next step 

1. Replace the rear door ECU LH with a new one or normally functioning one. Refer to COMPONENTS [09/2013 - ] .
2. Check that the entry function operates normally. Refer to OPERATION CHECK [09/2013 - ] .

   OK

   Operates normally

NG → See step   12 

OK → END (REAR DOOR ECU LH IS DEFECTIVE)

1. Remove the rear door outside handle LH.
2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard resistance

   Tester Connection	Switch Condition	Specified Condition
   O26-1 (TRG-) - O26-3 (TRG+)	ON	Below 1 Ω
   O26-1 (TRG-) - O26-3 (TRG+)	OFF	10 kΩ or higher

NG → See step   11 

OK: Go to next step

1. Disconnect the O14 ECU connector.
2. Disconnect the O26 handle connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   O14-20 (TRG+) - O26-3 (TRG+)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   O26-3 (TRG+) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

OK: Go to next step

1. Disconnect the O25 oscillator connector.
2. Disconnect the O26 handle connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   O25-9 (TRG-) - O26-1 (TRG-)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   O26-1 (TRG-) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

OK: Go to next step 

1. Replace the door electrical key oscillator with a new one or normally functioning one. Refer to COMPONENTS [09/2013 - ] .
2. Check that the entry function operates normally. Refer to OPERATION CHECK [09/2013 - ] .

   OK

   Operates normally

NG → See step   9 

OK → END (DOOR ELECTRICAL KEY OSCILLATOR IS DEFECTIVE) 

1. Replace the rear door ECU LH with a new one or normally functioning one. Refer to COMPONENTS [09/2013 - ] .
2. Check that the entry function operates normally. Refer to OPERATION CHECK [09/2013 - ] .

   OK

   Operates normally
