Power Source Circuit [09/2013 - ]: Procedure
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BLIND SPOT MONITOR SENSOR LH - BATTERY)
- Disconnect the blind spot monitor sensor LH connector.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage
Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition n1-5 (BLB) - Body ground Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V n1-5 (BLB) - Body ground Engine switch off Below 1 V
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- Disconnect the blind spot monitor sensor LH connector.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BLIND SPOT MONITOR SENSOR LH - BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the blind spot monitor sensor LH connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition n1-10 (BLGD) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- Disconnect the blind spot monitor sensor LH connector.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BLIND SPOT MONITOR SENSOR RH - BATTERY)
- Disconnect the blind spot monitor sensor RH connector.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage
Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition i1-5 (BRB) - Body ground Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V i1-5 (BRB) - Body ground Engine switch off Below 1 V
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- Disconnect the blind spot monitor sensor RH connector.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BLIND SPOT MONITOR SENSOR RH - BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the blind spot monitor sensor RH connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition i1-10 (BRGD) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK → See step 5
- Disconnect the blind spot monitor sensor RH connector.
- PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE. Refer to PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE [09/2013 - ]
