  1. STEERING SENSOR INITIALIZATION 

    HINT: 

    • If the cable is disconnected from the negative (-) battery terminal or the steering sensor connector is disconnected, the steering sensor zero point may be cleared.
    • Even when the steering sensor zero point calibration has not been performed, the master warning light does not illuminate.
    1. Start the engine.
    2. Slowly turn the steering wheel 360° clockwise and counterclockwise twice or three times.
    3. Drive the vehicle on a straight road at 40 km/h (25 mph) or more for 5 seconds or more.
