DCM Data Signal Circuit between Navigation ECU and DCM [08/2013 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DCM [TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER] - MULTI-MEDIA MODULE RECEIVER ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Disconnect the DCM (Telematics Transceiver) connector.

    2. Disconnect the multi-media module receiver assembly connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      H41-1-1 (USB-) - H17-1-1 (USB-) Always Below 1 Ω
      H41-1-2 (USB+) - H17-1-2 (USB+) Always Below 1 Ω
      H41-1-3 (USBS) - H17-1-3 (USBS) Always Below 1 Ω
      H41-2 (USBG) - H17-2 (USBG) Always Below 1 Ω
      H41-3 (VOT+) - H17-7 (VOR+) Always Below 1 Ω
      H41-4 (USBV) - H17-4 (USBV) Always Below 1 Ω
      H41-5 (VOT-) - H17-6 (VOR-) Always Below 1 Ω
      H41-6 (VOR-) - H17-5 (VOT-) Always Below 1 Ω
      H41-7 (VOR+) - H17-3 (VOT+) Always Below 1 Ω
      H41-1-1 (USB-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H41-1-2 (USB+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H41-1-3 (USBS) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H41-2 (USBG) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H41-3 (VOT+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H41-4 (USBV) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H41-5 (VOT-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H41-6 (VOR-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H41-7 (VOR+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
