Installation [09/2013 - ]

  1. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM ECU BOX 
  2. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM ECU COVER 
    1. Install the engine room ECU cover and connect the 3 claws.
  3. INSTALL NO. 2 ECM BRACKET 
    1. Install the No. 2 ECM bracket with the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 4.5 N*m (46 kgf*cm, 40 in.*lbf) 

  4. INSTALL ECM BRACKET 
    1. Install the ECM bracket with the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 4.5 N*m (46 kgf*cm, 40 in.*lbf) 

  5. INSTALL ECM 
    1. Install the ECM with the 2 nuts.

      Torque: 12 N*m (122 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf) 

      NOTE: Any parts that have scratches, dents, etc., or that are dropped or subjected to a strong impact during servicing need to be replaced with new one.

      NOTE:
      • When connecting the connectors, make sure that dirt, water or other foreign matter does not become stuck between the connectors and other parts.
      • Make sure that the 2 levers are securely locked.
    2. Connect the 2 ECM connectors and wire clamp.
    3. Connect the clamp.
  6. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL  . Refer to INSTALLATION [09/2013 - ] - Step 117
  7. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER  . Refer to INSTALLATION [09/2013 - ] - Step 118
  8. CONNECT CABLE TO AUXILIARY BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL 
    NOTE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected. Refer to INITIALIZATION [09/2013 - ] .
  9. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER LH  . Refer to INSTALLATION [09/2013 - ] - Step 24
  10. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT  . Refer to INSTALLATION [09/2013 - ] - Step 26
  11. PERFORM INITIALIZATION 

    Refer to INITIALIZATION [09/2013 - ]
