Pointer does not Reach Screen Edge: Procedure
- CHECK FOR FOREIGN OBJECT
- Check if there are any foreign objects around the remote touch switch knob that interfere with knob operation.
OK
There are no foreign objects around the remote touch switch knob that interfere with its operation.
NG → REMOVE FOREIGN OBJECT (CHECK SWITCH KNOB OPERATION AFTER REMOVING OBJECT)
OK: Go to next step
- Check if there are any foreign objects around the remote touch switch knob that interfere with knob operation.
- CHECK REMOTE TOUCH SWITCH (OPERATION CHECK)
- Enter the "Remote Touch Switch Check" screen. Refer to Check Remote Touch Switch in Operation Check. Refer to OPERATION CHECK [09/2012 - ] .
- Move the remote touch switch knob and press the switch knob at any blank space on the screen to display the cursor.
HINT:
- The cursor will be displayed at the point where the switch knob was pressed.
- Once the cursor is displayed, the coordinates will be displayed.
- Main Screen Check:
Move the pointer to any position using the remote touch switch knob and press the switch knob again. When the location of cursor is changed with the switch knob held, check that the coordinate values "X" and "Y" change between 0 and 255.
HINT:
Even if the pointer is moved, the cursor will remain at the position where the pointer was when the switch knob was pressed.

Move the pointer to any position using the remote touch switch knob and press the switch knob again. When the location of cursor is changed with the switch knob held, check that the coordinate values "X" change between 102 and 255 and "Y" change between 0 and 255.

- Check remote touch switch knob position recognition.
