DTC C1A22: Object Recognition Camera Incorrect Axial Gap; DTC C1A23: Object Recognition Camera Initialization Incomplete: Procedure

  1. ADJUST OBJECT RECOGNITION CAMERA 
    1. Adjust the object recognition camera. Refer to ADJUSTMENT [09/2012 - ] .

    NEXT: Go to next step 

  2. CHECK FOR DTC 
    1. Clear the DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [09/2012 - ] .

      HINT: 

      If the detection conditions are not met, the system cannot detect the malfunction.

      1. Drive the vehicle at 50 km/h (31 mph) or more, and operate lane-keeping assist system.
    2. Check for DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [09/2012 - ] .

      OK

      DTC C1A22 and C1A23 are not output.

    NG → See step   3 

    OK → END 

  3. REPLACE OBJECT RECOGNITION ECU 
    1. Temporarily replace the object recognition ECU. Refer to REMOVAL [09/2012 - ] .

    NEXT: Go to next step 

  4. ADJUST OBJECT RECOGNITION CAMERA 
    1. Adjust the object recognition camera. Refer to ADJUSTMENT [09/2012 - ] .

    NEXT: Go to next step 

  5. CHECK FOR DTC 
    1. Clear the DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [09/2012 - ] .

      HINT: 

      If the detection conditions are not met, the system cannot detect the malfunction.

      1. Drive the vehicle at 50 km/h (31 mph) or more, and operate lane-keeping assist system.
    2. Check for DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [09/2012 - ] .

      OK

      DTC C1A22 and C1A23 are not output.

    NG → See step   6 

    OK → END (OBJECT RECOGNITION ECU IS DEFECTIVE) 

  6. REPLACE DRIVING SUPPORT ECU. Refer to  REMOVAL [09/2012 - ]
