- When the luggage door opening switch assembly is operated, check that the luggage compartment door opens.
- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (LUGGAGE PUSH SWITCH)
- Using the Techstream, read the Data List.BODY NO. 4 (REAR ROOM JUNCTION BLOCK ECU)
Tester Display Measurement Item/Display Normal Condition Diagnostic Note Luggage Push Switch Luggage electrical key switch / ON or OFF ON: Luggage electrical key switch is pushed
OFF: Luggage electrical key switch is not pushed- OK
On the screen, item changes between ON and OFF according to above chart.
NG → See step 9
OK: Go to next step
- Using the Techstream, read the Data List.
- CHECK WAVE ENVIRONMENT
- Bring the electrical key transmitter near the electrical key antenna (in rear bumper), and perform an entry luggage compartment open function check.NOTE:
If the key is brought within 0.2 m (0.6 ft) of the rear bumper, communication is not possible.
HINT:
- When the electrical key transmitter is brought near the electrical key antenna, the possibility of wave interference decreases, and it can be determined if wave interference is causing the problem symptom.
- If the inspection result is that the operation check is normal, the possibility of wave interference is high. Also, added vehicle components may cause wave interference. If installed, remove them and perform the operation check.
RESULTResult Proceed to Operation check fails A Operation check is normal B
B → AFFECTED BY WAVE INTERFERENCE
