Terminals Of Ecu [08/2012 - ]

  1. CHECK COMBINATION METER

    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Terminal No. (Symbols) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      J35-3 (PBLT) - Body ground P - Body ground Passenger seat belt warning light signal Passenger seat is occupied, seat belt is fastened Below 1 Ω
      Passenger seat is occupied, seat belt is unfastened 10 kΩ or higher
      • If the result is not as specified, the meter may have a malfunction.
  2. CHECK INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL (w/o MULTI-DISPLAY)

    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Terminal No. (Symbols) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      J54-13 (PBEW) - Body ground P - Body ground Passenger seat belt warning light signal Passenger seat is occupied, seat belt is fastened Below 1 Ω
      Passenger seat is occupied, seat belt is unfastened 10 kΩ or higher
      • If the result is not as specified, the panel may have a malfunction.
  3. CHECK CLOCK (w/ MULTI-DISPLAY)

    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Terminal No. (Symbols) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      J92-12 (PBEW) - Body ground P - Body ground Passenger seat belt warning light signal Passenger seat is occupied, seat belt is fastened Below 1 Ω
      Passenger seat is occupied, seat belt is unfastened 10 kΩ or higher
      • If the result is not as specified, the clock may have a malfunction.
  4. CENTER AIRBAG SENSOR

    Q32-11 DBE+ Front seat inner belt RH (driver side seat belt buckle switch)
    Q32-12 DBE- Front seat inner belt RH (driver side seat belt buckle switch)
  5. CHECK OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION ECU 
    1. Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      T16-7 (VPS) - T16-5 (GND) Y - W-B Pressure sensor +B line Engine switch on (IG) 4.75 to 5.25 V
      T16-8 (GBT) - T16-5 (GND) G - W-B Belt tension sensor ground line Always Below 1 V
      T16-9 (IG) - T16-5 (GND) B - W-B Occupant classification ECU +B line Engine switch on (IG) 10 to 14 V

      • If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction.
