      (DCM (Telematics Transceiver))

    NG → See step   2

    OK → See step   4

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY - DCM (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER))
    1. Disconnect the P49 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.
    2. Disconnect the J114 DCM (telematics transceiver) connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      P49-2 (TMUT) - J114-17 (MUTE) Always Below 1 Ω
P49-2 (TMUT) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

    OK: Go to next step

  3. INSPECT STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY
    1. Reconnect the P49 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.
    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
