    NG → See step   4

    OK: Go to next step

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (AVC-LAN CIRCUIT)
    1. Disconnect the J125 multi-media module receiver assembly connector.
    2. Disconnect the J126 multi-display assembly connector.
    3. Disconnect the J76 network gateway ECU connector.
    4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      J125-7 (TX1+) - J76-6 (GTX+) Always Below 1 Ω
      J125-8 (TX1-) - J76-21 (GTX-) Always Below 1 Ω
      J125-45 (TX3+) - J126-7 (TX+) Always Below 1 Ω
      J125-46 (TX3-) - J126-19 (TX-) Always Below 1 Ω
J125-7 (TX1+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
J125-8 (TX1-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
J125-45 (TX3+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
J125-46 (TX3-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

    OK: Go to next step

  3. INSPECT MALFUNCTIONING PARTS
    1. Disconnect and reconnect each slave unit one by one until the master unit returns to normal operation.

      HINT:

      • Check all slave units.
      • If disconnecting a slave unit causes the master unit to return to normal operation, the slave unit is defective and should be replaced.

      OK

Master unit returns to normal operation.

    NG → See step   4

    OK → REPLACE MALFUNCTIONING PARTS

  4. REPLACE MULTI-MEDIA MODULE RECEIVER ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [08/2012 - ]
