- INSPECT MULTIMEDIA MODULE RECEIVER ASSEMBLY
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance

- Disconnect the J101 DCM (telematics transceiver) connector.
- Disconnect the R5 map light assembly (telephone microphone assembly) connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition J101-35 (MCI-) - R5-5 (MCO-) Always Below 1 Ω J101-35 (MCI-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTIMEDIA MODULE RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - DCM (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER))
- Disconnect the J114 multimedia module receiver assembly connector.
- Disconnect the J101 DCM (telematics transceiver) connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition J114-48 (MIN-) - J101-19 (MCO-) Always Below 1 Ω J114-48 (MIN-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTIMEDIA MODULE RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY (TELEPHONE MICROPHONE ASSEMBLY))
- Disconnect the J114 multimedia module receiver assembly connector.
- Disconnect the R5 map light assembly (telephone microphone assembly) connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition J114-49 (SNS2) - R5-4 (SNS2) Always Below 1 Ω J114-49 (SNS2) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

- INSPECT DCM (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER)
- Reconnect the J101 DCM (telematics transceiver) connector.
- Reconnect the J114 multimedia module receiver assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

- INSPECT MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY (TELEPHONE MICROPHONE ASSEMBLY)
- Remove the map light assembly (telephone microphone assembly).
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

- REPLACE TELEPHONE MICROPHONE ASSEMBLY
- Replace the telephone microphone assembly. Refer to REMOVAL [08/2012 - ] .
- Clear the DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK/CLEAR [08/2012 - ] .
- Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

No DTCs are output.
