Visual Mute Signal Circuit between Navigation Receiver Assembly and Multi-display: Procedure

1. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   J113-11 (VMTI) - Body ground	Engine switch on (ACC), screen display changes.	3.5 V or higher → Below 1 V → 3.5 V or higher

OK → See step   4 

1. Disconnect the J113 multi-display assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the J114 multimedia module receiver assembly connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   J113-11 (VMTI) - J114-10 (VMTF)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   J113-11 (VMTI) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

OK: Go to next step 

1. Replace the multi-display assembly and check if the navigation system operates normally. Refer to REMOVAL [08/2012 - ] .

   OK

   The navigation system operates normally.
