- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTIMEDIA MODULE RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY (TELEPHONE MICROPHONE ASSEMBLY))
- Disconnect the J114 multimedia module receiver assembly connector.
- Disconnect the R5 map light assembly (telephone microphone assembly) connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

- Reconnect the J101 DCM (telematics transceiver) connector (w/ Manual (SOS) Switch).
- Reconnect the R5 map light assembly (telephone microphone assembly) connector.
- Turn the engine switch on (ACC).
- Connect an oscilloscope to terminals 6 (MCO+) and 5 (MCO-) of the R5 map light assembly (telephone microphone assembly) connector.
- Check the waveform of the telephone microphone assembly using the oscilloscope.
