DTC C1299/99: Cancellation of 4WD Control: Procedure
- CHECK TIRE CONDITION
- Check the size and condition of all 4 tires. Refer to INSPECTION [08/2012 - ]

HINT:
This DTC is output when tire deformation or a difference in tire size is detected.
OK
The diameter and air pressure of all 4 tires are the same.
NG → REPLACE TIRES SO THAT ALL 4 TIRES ARE THE SAME SIZE
OK: Go to next step
- Check the size and condition of all 4 tires. Refer to INSPECTION [08/2012 - ]

- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Start the engine.
- Select the "Data List" on the Techstream. Refer to DATA LIST/ACTIVE TEST [08/2012 - ] .
- Check that the speed values detected at all four wheels displayed on the Techstream are the same when driving the vehicle.DATA LIST: 4WD

The speed of all four wheels displayed on the Techstream should match.
NG → CHECK SPEED SIGNAL CIRCUIT
OK: Go to next step
- RECONFIRM DTC
- Clear the DTC. Refer to DTC CHECK/CLEAR [08/2012 - ] .
- Turn the engine switch off.
- Start the engine.
- Drive the vehicle at the speed of 12 mph (20 km/h) or more and check if the same DTC is output.

B → CHECK INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS
A → REPLACE 4WD CONTROL ECU
