Washer Fluid Level Warning Switch Circuit: Procedure
- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (WASHER LEVEL)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the engine switch on (IG) and turn the Techstream main switch on.
- Select the item below in the DATA LIST, and read the displays on the Techstream.BODY NO. 5 (FRONT CONTROLLER):

OFF: Washer fluid is full-
NG → See step 2
OK → PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FRONT CONTROLLER (ENGINE ROOM NO. 2 J/B) - BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the 2F front controller (engine room No. 2 J/B) connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 2F-7 - Body ground Washer fluid is full 10 kΩ or higher 2F-7 - Body ground Washer fluid is empty Below 1 Ω

OK → PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
- Disconnect the 2F front controller (engine room No. 2 J/B) connector.
- CHECK WASHER FLUID LEVEL SENSOR
- Disconnect the A1 washer fluid level sensor connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition A1-1 - A1-2 Washer fluid is empty Below 1 Ω A1-1 - A1-2 Washer fluid is full 10 kΩ or higher
NG → REPLACE WASHER FLUID LEVEL SENSOR
OK → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
- Disconnect the A1 washer fluid level sensor connector.
