Front Wiper Motor Circuit: Procedure
- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (FRONT WIPER MOTOR)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the engine switch on (IG) and turn the Techstream on.
- Select the items below using ACTIVE TEST and then check that the front wiper motor operates.BODY NO. 3 (MAIN BODY ECU LH):

OK → PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
- INSPECT WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR ASSEMBLY
- Remove the windshield wiper motor assembly. Refer to REMOVAL [08/2012 - ]

- Check the LO operation.
- Connect the positive (+) battery lead to terminal 1 (+1) of the connector, and the negative (-) battery lead to terminal 5 (E), and check that the motor operates at low speed.
- Check the HI operation.
- Connect the positive (+) battery lead to terminal 4 (+2) of the connector, and the negative (-) battery lead to terminal 3 (+S), and check that the motor operates at high speed.
NG → REPLACE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR ASSEMBLY
OK: Go to next step
- Remove the windshield wiper motor assembly. Refer to REMOVAL [08/2012 - ]

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR - MAIN BODY ECU LH (COWL SIDE J/B LH))
- Disconnect the A19 windshield wiper motor assembly connector.
- Disconnect the A30 main body ECU LH (cowl side J/B LH) connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

- Disconnect the A19 windshield wiper motor assembly connector.
