Driver Side Door Entry Lock and Unlock Functions do not Operate: Procedure

1. When the door control switch on the multiplex network master switch assembly on the driver side door is operated, check that the doors unlock and lock according to the switch operation. Refer to OPERATION CHECK [06/2012 - ] .

   OK

   Door locks operate normally.

NG → See step   8 

OK: Go to next step 

1. When the door control switch on the multiplex network master switch assembly on the driver side door is operated, check that the Data List using the Techstream. Refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST [06/2012 - ] .

      When the electrical key transmitter is brought within 0.7 to 1 m (2.30 to 3.28 ft.) of the front door outside handle assembly LH, check that the wireless door lock buzzer sounds.

1. Disconnect the O1 front door outside handle assembly LH connector.
2. Disconnect the G26 certification ECU connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

OK: Go to next step 

1. Disconnect the O1 front door outside handle assembly LH connector.

2. Connect the G26 certification ECU connector.
3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
