Air Conditioning Control Panel does not Operate: Procedure

  1. CHECK SWITCH OPERATION 
    1. Check the switch operation.
      RESULT

      Result Proceed to
      Heater control switch board does not operate*1 A
      No. 2 Air conditioning control assembly does not operate*2 B
      • *1: w/o Navigation System
      • *2: w/ Rear Air Conditioning System

    B → See step   3 

    A: Go to next step 

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER - HEATER CONTROL SWITCH BOARD) 
    1. Disconnect the G13 air conditioning amplifier assembly connector.
    2. Disconnect the H32 heater control switch board connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
      STANDARD RESISTANCE

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G13-37 (LIN1) - H32-10 (LIN1) Always Below 1 Ω
      G13-37 (LIN1) or H32-10 (LIN1) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK → See step   4 

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER - NO. 2 AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL) 
    1. Disconnect the G12 air conditioning amplifier assembly connector.
    2. Disconnect the T2 No. 2 air conditioning control assembly connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
      STANDARD RESISTANCE

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G12-13 (RLIN) - T2-6 (RLIN) Always Below 1 Ω
      G12-13 (RLIN) or T2-6 (RLIN) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK → See step   5 

  4. Go to AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM. Refer to  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE [06/2012 - ] 
  5. Go to AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM. Refer to  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE [06/2012 - ]
