DTC B27A5: Open in Front Floor Electrical Key Oscillator Circuit: Procedure
- CHECK CONNECTOR CONNECTION
- Turn the engine switch off.
- Check that the connectors are properly connected to the certification ECU and indoor No. 1 electrical key antenna assembly (front floor).
OK
Connectors are properly connected.
NG → CONNECT CONNECTORS PROPERLY
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (CERTIFICATION ECU - INDOOR NO. 1 ELECTRICAL KEY ANTENNA)
- Disconnect the G26 certification ECU connector.
- Disconnect the i1 indoor No. 1 electrical key antenna assembly (front floor) connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.STANDARD RESISTANCE
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition G26-7 (CLG5) - i1-1 (CLG3) Always Below 1 Ω G26-8 (CG5B) - i1-3 (CLGB) Always Below 1 Ω G26-15 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω G26-7 (CLG5) or i1-1 (CLG3) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher G26-8 (CG5B) or i1-3 (CLGB) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK CERTIFICATION ECU (OUTPUT TO INDOOR NO. 1 ELECTRICAL KEY ANTENNA [FRONT FLOOR])
- Connect the G26 certification ECU connector.TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION
*1 Waveform - - *a Component with harness connected
(Certification ECU)*b Door is open then closed for 30 seconds *c Approximately 30 seconds from when the door is closed and after - - - Connect the i1 indoor No. 1 electrical key antenna assembly (front floor) connector.
- Using an oscilloscope, check the waveform.OK

- Door is open
- Door is closed
- 30 seconds elapse

- 30 seconds elapse
2 V/DIV., 500 ms/DIV. Pulse generation (See waveform)

OK: Go to next step
- Connect the G26 certification ECU connector.
- REPLACE INDOOR NO. 1 ELECTRICAL KEY ANTENNA ASSEMBLY (FRONT FLOOR)
- Temporarily replace the indoor No. 1 electrical key antenna assembly (front floor) with a new or normally functioning one. Refer to REMOVAL [06/2012 - ] .

- CLEAR DTC
- Clear the DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [06/2012 - ] .
