Terminals Of Ecu [06/2012 - ]

  1. MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the M4 multiplex network master switch assembly connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      M4-11 (B) - M4-12 (GND) W - W-B Power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      M4-12 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    3. Reconnect the M4 multiplex network master switch assembly connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      M4-15 (DOWN) - M4-12 (GND) R - W-B Power window motor DOWN output Engine switch on (IG), driver door power window regulator switch not pushed or pulled 11 to 14 V
      M4-15 (DOWN) - M4-12 (GND) R - W-B Power window motor DOWN output Engine switch on (IG), driver door power window moving, driver door power window regulator switch pushed halfway down (Manual operation) Below 1 V
      M4-18 (LED) - M4-12 (GND) Y - W-B LED illumination signal Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      M4-18 (LED) - M4-12 (GND) Y - W-B LED illumination signal Approximately 43 seconds after engine switch turned off Below 1 V
      M4-20 (UP) - M4-12 (GND) G - W-B Power window motor UP output Engine switch on (IG), driver door power window regulator switch not pushed or pulled 11 to 14 V
      M4-20 (UP) - M4-12 (GND) G - W-B Power window motor UP output Engine switch on (IG), driver door power window moving, driver door power window regulator switch pulled halfway up (Manual operation) Below 1 V

      If the result is not as specified, the multiplex network master switch assembly may be malfunctioning.

  2. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the L4 power window regulator switch assembly connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      L4-1 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    3. Reconnect the L4 power window regulator switch assembly connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      L4-4 (LED) - L4-1 (GND) Y - W-B LED illumination signal Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      L4-4 (LED) - L4-1 (GND) Y - W-B LED illumination signal Approximately 43 seconds after engine switch turned off Below 1 V
      L4-6 (UP) - L4-1 (GND) BE - W-B Power window motor UP output Engine switch on (IG), power window regulator switch assembly not pushed or pulled 11 to 14 V
      L4-6 (UP) - L4-1 (GND) BE - W-B Power window motor UP output Engine switch on (IG), front passenger door power window moving, power window regulator switch assembly pulled halfway up (Manual operation) Below 1 V
      L4-6 (UP) - L4-1 (GND) BE - W-B Power window motor UP output Engine switch on (IG), front passenger door power window fully open 11 to 14 V
      L4-6 (UP) - L4-1 (GND) BE - W-B Power window motor UP output Engine switch on (IG), front passenger door power window moving, power window regulator switch assembly fully pulled up (Automatic operation) Below 1 V
      L4-6 (UP) - L4-1 (GND) BE - W-B Power window motor UP output Engine switch on (IG), front passenger door power window fully closed 11 to 14 V
      L4-7 (DOWN) - L4-1 (GND) V - W-B Power window motor DOWN output Engine switch on (IG), power window regulator switch assembly not pushed or pulled 11 to 14 V
      L4-7 (DOWN) - L4-1 (GND) V - W-B Power window motor DOWN output Engine switch on (IG), front passenger door power window moving, power window regulator switch assembly pushed halfway down (Manual operation) Below 1 V
      L4-7 (DOWN) - L4-1 (GND) V - W-B Power window motor DOWN output Engine switch on (IG), front passenger door power window fully closed 11 to 14 V
      L4-7 (DOWN) - L4-1 (GND) V - W-B Power window motor DOWN output Engine switch on (IG), front passenger door power window moving, power window regulator switch assembly fully pushed down (Automatic operation) Below 1 V
      L4-7 (DOWN) - L4-1 (GND) V - W-B Power window motor DOWN output Engine switch on (IG), front passenger door power window fully open 11 to 14 V
      L4-8 (AUTO) - L4-1 (GND) L - W-B Power window motor AUTO UP output Engine switch on (IG), front passenger door power window fully open 11 to 14 V

      L4-8 (AUTO) - L4-1 (GND) L - W-B Power window motor AUTO DOWN output Engine switch on (IG), front passenger door power window fully closed 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, the power window regulator switch assembly may be malfunctioning.

  3. CHECK REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for LH Door) 
    1. Disconnect the O4 rear power window regulator switch assembly (for LH door) connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      O4-1 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    3. Reconnect the O4 rear power window regulator switch assembly (for LH door) connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      O4-4 (LED) - O4-1 (GND) LG - W-B LED illumination signal Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V

      O4-6 (UP) - O4-1 (GND) G - W-B Power window motor UP output Engine switch on (IG), rear power window regulator switch assembly (for LH door) not pushed or pulled 11 to 14 V
      O4-6 (UP) - O4-1 (GND) G - W-B Power window motor UP output Engine switch on (IG), rear LH door power window moving, rear power window regulator switch assembly (for LH door) pulled halfway up (Manual operation) Below 1 V
      O4-6 (UP) - O4-1 (GND) G - W-B Power window motor UP output Engine switch on (IG), rear LH door power window fully open 11 to 14 V
      O4-6 (UP) - O4-1 (GND) G - W-B Power window motor UP output Engine switch on (IG), rear LH door power window moving, rear power window regulator switch assembly (for LH door) fully pulled up (Automatic operation) Below 1 V
      O4-6 (UP) - O4-1 (GND) G - W-B Power window motor UP output Engine switch on (IG), rear LH door power window fully closed 11 to 14 V
      O4-7 (DOWN) - O4-1 (GND) R - W-B Power window motor DOWN output Engine switch on (IG), rear power window regulator switch assembly (for LH door) not pushed or pulled 11 to 14 V
      O4-7 (DOWN) - O4-1 (GND) R - W-B Power window motor DOWN output Engine switch on (IG), rear LH door power window moving, rear power window regulator switch assembly (for LH door) pushed halfway down (Manual operation) Below 1 V
      O4-7 (DOWN) - O4-1 (GND) R - W-B Power window motor DOWN output Engine switch on (IG), rear LH door power window fully closed 11 to 14 V
      O4-7 (DOWN) - O4-1 (GND) R - W-B Power window motor DOWN output Engine switch on (IG), rear LH door power window moving, rear power window regulator switch assembly (for LH door) fully pushed down (Automatic operation) Below 1 V
      O4-7 (DOWN) - O4-1 (GND) R - W-B Power window motor DOWN output Engine switch on (IG), rear LH door power window fully open 11 to 14 V
      O4-8 (AUTO) - O4-1 (GND) B - W-B Power window motor AUTO UP output Engine switch on (IG), rear LH door power window fully open 11 to 14 V

      O4-8 (AUTO) - O4-1 (GND) B - W-B Power window motor AUTO DOWN output Engine switch on (IG), rear LH door power window fully open 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, the rear power window regulator switch assembly (for LH door) may be malfunctioning.

  4. CHECK REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for RH Door) 
    1. Disconnect the N4 rear power window regulator switch assembly (for RH door) connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      N4-1 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    3. Reconnect the N4 rear power window regulator switch assembly (for RH door) connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      N4-4 (LED) - N4-1 (GND) LG - W-B LED illumination signal Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, the rear power window regulator switch assembly (for RH door) may be malfunctioning.

  5. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Driver Door) 
    1. Disconnect the M8 power window regulator motor assembly (for driver door) connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      M8-1 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      M8-2 (B) - Body ground GR - Body ground Power supply Always 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    3. Reconnect the M8 power window regulator motor assembly (for driver door) connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      M8-5 (LED) - M8-1 (GND) Y - W-B LED illumination signal Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V

      M8-7 (DOWN) - M8-1 (GND) R - W-B Power window motor DOWN input Engine switch on (IG), multiplex network master switch assembly (driver door power window regulator switch) not pushed or pulled 11 to 14 V
      M8-7 (DOWN) - M8-1 (GND) R - W-B Power window motor DOWN input Engine switch on (IG), driver door power window moving, multiplex network master switch assembly (driver door power window regulator switch) pushed halfway down (Manual operation) Below 1 V
      M8-7 (DOWN) - M8-1 (GND) R - W-B Power window motor DOWN input Engine switch on (IG), driver door power window fully closed 11 to 14 V

      M8-10 (UP) - M8-1 (GND) G - W-B Power window motor UP input Engine switch on (IG), driver door power window fully closed 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, the power window regulator motor assembly (for driver door) may be malfunctioning.

  6. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Door) 
    1. Disconnect the L9 power window regulator motor assembly (for front passenger door) connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      L9-1 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      L9-2 (B) - Body ground GR - Body ground Power supply Always 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    3. Reconnect the L9 power window regulator motor assembly (for front passenger door) connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      L9-4 (AUTO) - L9-1 (GND) L - W-B Power window motor AUTO UP input Engine switch on (IG), front passenger door power window fully open 11 to 14 V

      L9-4 (AUTO) - L9-1 (GND) L - W-B Power window motor AUTO DOWN input Engine switch on (IG), front passenger door power window fully closed 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, the power window regulator motor assembly (for front passenger door) may be malfunctioning.

  7. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Rear LH Door) 
    1. Disconnect the O2 power window regulator motor assembly (for rear LH door) connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      O2-1 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      O2-2 (B) - Body ground G - Body ground Power supply Always 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    3. Reconnect the O2 power window regulator motor assembly (for rear LH door) connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      O2-4 (AUTO) - O2-1 (GND) B - W-B Power window motor AUTO UP input Engine switch on (IG), rear LH door power window fully open 11 to 14 V

      O2-4 (AUTO) - O2-1 (GND) B - W-B Power window motor AUTO UP input Engine switch on (IG), rear LH door power window fully closed 11 to 14 V

  8. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Rear RH Door) 
    1. Disconnect the N2 power window regulator motor assembly (for rear RH door) connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

  9. CHECK INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY AND MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU) 
    1. Disconnect the MB and H9 main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connectors.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connectors disconnected.

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    3. Reconnect the MB and H9 main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connectors.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

  10. CHECK CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Disconnect the A36 certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.
