DTC C1515: Torque Sensor Zero Point Adjustment Undone; DTC C1525: Rotation Angle Sensor Initialization Undone: Procedure
- CHECK FOR DTC
- Initialize the rotation angle sensor value and calibrate the torque sensor zero point (step 1). Refer to CALIBRATION [08/2012 - ] .
- Check for DTCs (step 2). Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [08/2012 - ]
.
HINT:
If DTCs are output, perform steps 1 and 2 two more times.
Result
Result Proceed to DTCs are still output after performing rotation angle sensor value initialization and steering zero point calibration 3 times. A Normal system code is output. B
B → END
A: Go to next step
- REPLACE POWER STEERING ECU ASSEMBLY
- Replace the power steering ECU assembly. Refer to REMOVAL [08/2012 - ] .
NEXT: Go to next step

Result
Result Proceed to DTCs are still output after performing rotation angle sensor value initialization and steering zero point calibration 3 times. A Normal system code is output. B NOTE:If replacing the steering column assembly, clear the rotation angle sensor calibration value, initialize the rotation angle sensor value, and calibrate the torque sensor zero point. Refer to CALIBRATION [08/2012 - ] .
B → END
A → See step 4
- REPLACE STEERING COLUMN ASSEMBLY. Refer to REMOVAL [08/2012 - ]
