Rear Side Switch Module LIN Communication Malfunction: Procedure

1. Clear the DTC. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .

NEXT: Go to next step 

1. Check for DTC. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .
   RESULT
   
   

   Result	Proceed to
   DTC U0211, U0246, U1130 and U1131 are output	A
   DTC U0211, U0246, U1130 or U1131 is output	B
   No DTC is output	C

1. Disconnect the r2*1 or S15*2 module switch connectors.

   HINT: 

   *1: except 4-Passenger with Ottoman

   *2: for 4-Passenger with Ottoman

2. Disconnect the f40 ECU connector.
3. Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard resistance

   EXCEPT 4-PASSENGER WITH OTTOMAN:

B → REPLACE POSITION CONTROL ECU RH 

A: Go to next step 

1. Reconnect the f37 ECU connector.
2. Clear the DTC. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .

NEXT: Go to next step 

1. Disconnect the f40 ECU connector.
2. Recheck for DTC. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .
   RESULT
   
   

   Result	Proceed to
   DTC U0211 and U0246 are output	A
   DTC U0211, U0246, U1130 and U1131 are output	B
   DTC U0246 is output	C

B → REPLACE POSITION CONTROL ECU LH 

C → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

A: Go to next step 

1. Reconnect the f40 ECU connector.
2. Clear the DTC. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .

NEXT: Go to next step 

1. Disconnect the f8 ECU connector.
2. Recheck for DTC. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .
   RESULT
   
   

   Result	Proceed to
   DTC U0211, U0246, U1130 and U1131 are output	A
   DTC U1130*2 is output	B

B → REPLACE REAR SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL ECU RH 

A: Go to next step 

1. Reconnect the f8 ECU connector.
2. Clear the DTC. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .

NEXT: Go to next step 

1. Disconnect the f28*1 or f13*2 ECU connector.

   HINT: 

   *1: w/ Climate Control Seat System

   *2: w/ Seat Heater System

2. Recheck for DTC. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .
   RESULT
