DVD Image Signal Circuit between Radio Receiver and Multi-display: Procedure
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION MODULE DISPLAY)
- Disconnect the radio receiver assembly connector.
- Disconnect the display and navigation module display connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition J106-8 (NTSC) - J102-9 (VV+) Always Below 1 Ω J106-22 (GND) - J102-20 (VV-) Always Below 1 Ω J106-8 (NTSC) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher J106-22 (GND) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher J106-7 (SLD) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- INSPECT RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY
- Reconnect the radio receiver assembly connector.
- Measure the waveform according to the table below.OSCILLOSCOPE WAVEFORM

Condition DVD display is on NOTE:The video waveform changes according to the image output from the radio receiver assembly to the display and navigation module display, but the synchronization signal does not change.
