FRONT SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY (w/ Occupant Classification ECU, Occupant Classification Sensor): Installation: Installation

  1. INSTALL OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION ECU  See step  1
  2. INSTALL OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION SENSOR 
    1. Install the occupant classification sensor with 2 clips.

      NOTE:
      • Securely install the clip.
      • Do not reuse an occupant classification sensor which has been dropped.
      • Make sure that there is no foreign matter between the occupant classification sensor and seat assembly.
    2. Engage the claw to install the pressure hose.

      *1 Pressure Hose
    3. Connect the connector.
      NOTE:
      • When setting the pressure hose, make sure the pressure hose is not twisted. 1 full twist or more will damage the pressure hose.
      • Make sure the radius of the circular path of the pressure hose is 20 mm (0.787 in.) or more.
      • Do not kink the pressure hose.
      • After connecting the connectors, make sure that the connectors are not strained or pulled apart.
      • Make sure that the pressure hose is not pinched between other components.
  3. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side. Refer to REASSEMBLY - Step 33 .

  4. INSTALL FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH RH (w/o Memory) 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side. Refer to REASSEMBLY - Step 34 .

  5. INSTALL POSITION CONTROL ECU AND SWITCH ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Memory) 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side. Refer to REASSEMBLY - Step 35 .

  6. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION INNER SHIELD RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side. Refer to REASSEMBLY - Step 36 .

  7. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side. Refer to REASSEMBLY - Step 39 .

  8. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side. Refer to REASSEMBLY - Step 40 .

  9. INSTALL RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side. Refer to REASSEMBLY - Step 41 .

  10. INSTALL SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side. Refer to REASSEMBLY - Step 42 .

  11. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side. Refer to REASSEMBLY - Step 43 .

  12. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Refer to the procedure from Install Front Seat Assembly. Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 1 .

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  13. PERFORM DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK 
    1. Perform a diagnostic system check. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .
