How To Proceed With Troubleshooting

HINT: 

  1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP 

    NEXT: Go to next step 

  2. CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS 

    Refer to how to proceed with troubleshooting. Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING .

    NEXT: Go to next step 

  3. CHECK AND CLEAR DTC* 

    Refer to the DTC check/clear. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .

    NEXT: Go to next step 

  4. CHECK INITIAL CHECK FUNCTION 

    Refer to operation check. Refer to OPERATION CHECK .

  5. SYMPTOM SIMULATION

  6. CHECK MULTIPLEX COMMUNICATION SYSTEM* 

    Refer to how to proceed with troubleshooting. Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING .

    HINT: 

    This ECU is connected to the multiplex communication system. Therefore, be sure to check that there are no problems in the multiplex communication system before performing troubleshooting.

  7. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM* 

    Refer to how to proceed with troubleshooting. Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING .

    HINT: 

    This ECU is connected to the CAN communication system. Therefore, be sure to check that there are no problems in the CAN communication system before performing troubleshooting.
