Exhaust Manifold: Installation: Installation

INSTALL AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR (for Bank 2 Sensor 1) . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 1
INSTALL EXHAUST MANIFOLD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
1. Install a new gasket as shown in the illustration.

2. Install the exhaust manifold sub-assembly LH with 6 new nuts.

  Torque: 21 N*m (214 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf)
  NOTE:
  - Do not damage the stud bolts when installing the exhaust manifold.
  - Be sure to tighten either of nuts A first as show in the illustration.
3. Connect the air fuel ratio sensor connector (for Bank 2 Sensor 1).
INSTALL NO. 3 ENGINE ROOM RELAY BLOCK
1. Install the No. 3 engine room relay block with the bolt and nut.

  Torque: 8.0 N*m (82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf)
2. Install the earth wire with the 2 bolts.

  Bolt A
  
  Torque: 10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf)
  
  Bolt B
  
  Torque: 13 N*m (133 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf)
INSTALL EXHAUST MANIFOLD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH
1. Install a new gasket as shown in the illustration.

2. Install the exhaust manifold sub-assembly RH with 6 new nuts.

  Torque: 21 N*m (214 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf)
  NOTE:
  - Do not damage the stud bolts when installing the exhaust manifold.
  - Be sure to tighten either of nuts A first as show in the illustration.
INSTALL AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR (for Bank 1 Sensor 1) . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 4

INSTALL POWER STEERING ECU ASSEMBLY
1. Install the power steering ECU assembly. Refer to INSTALLATION .
INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 2
INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 78
INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 79
INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 80
INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 81
INSTALL FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY See step 4
INSTALL FRONT CENTER FLOOR BRACE
1. Install the front center floor brace with the 4 bolts.

  Torque: 17 N*m (173 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf)
INSTALL REAR BODY SUPPORT BRACKET
1. Install the 2 rear body support brackets with the 12 bolts except (A).

  Torque: 17 N*m (173 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf)
2. Install the 2 bolts (A).
