DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 1
REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 2
REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 4
REMOVE NO. 1 INLET AIR CLEANER . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 19
REMOVE V-RIBBED BELT . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 4
DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT . Refer to ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION - Step 4
REMOVE RADIATOR INLET HOSE . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 15
REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE COVER . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 82
REMOVE NO. 2 IDLER PULLEY SUB-ASSEMBLY . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 23
DISCONNECT WIRE HARNESS
1. Remove the 3 nuts (A) and disconnect the wire harness.

2. Disconnect the 2 connectors (B).
REMOVE GENERATOR ASSEMBLY
1. Remove the terminal cap.

2. Remove the nut (A) and disconnect the wire harness from the terminal B.
3. Remove the bolt (B) and clamp bracket.
4. Disconnect the generator connector, and detach the 2 clamps.
5. Remove the nut, and disconnect the generator bracket.

6. Remove the 2 bolts and generator.

7. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 generator brackets.
