FIX OIL PUMP ASSEMBLY

1. Place the oil pump body on the torque converter clutch.

REMOVE CLUTCH DRUM OIL SEAL RING

1. Remove the 3 oil seal rings.
REMOVE STATOR SHAFT ASSEMBLY
1. Remove the 14 bolts, and then remove the stator shaft from the oil pump body.

REMOVE FRONT OIL PUMP BODY O-RING

1. Remove the O-ring from the oil pump body.
2. Remove the oil pump body from the torque converter clutch.
INSPECT FRONT OIL PUMP BODY SUB-ASSEMBLY See step 1
INSPECT STATOR SHAFT ASSEMBLY See step 2
INSPECT CLEARANCE OF OIL PUMP ASSEMBLY See step 3
REMOVE FRONT OIL PUMP DRIVE GEAR

1. Using a screwdriver, pry out the oil seal.
  NOTE:
  Be careful not to damage the bushing or oil pump body.
