Entry Answer-back Buzzer does not Sound: Procedure

  1. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (ANSWER-BACK BUZZER FUNCTION) 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
    3. Turn the Techstream on.
    4. Enter the following menus: Utility / Customize / Wireless Door Lock.
    5. Select the setting by referring to the table below.
      MAIN BODY

      Display Default Content Setting Relevant ECU
      Wireless Buzzer Resp ON Function that buzzer answer back when entry lock or unlock operation is performed. ON or OFF Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)

      Result

      Result Proceed to
      Customize setting is ON. A
      Customize setting is OFF. B

    B → See step   5 

    A: Go to next step 

  2. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM 
    1. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Active Test.
    2. Perform the Active Test according to the display on the Techstream.
      MAIN BODY

      Wireless Buzzer Wireless door lock buzzer assembly ON/OFF -

      OK

      Wireless door lock buzzer sounds.

    NG → See step   3 

    OK → See step   4 

  3. GO TO WIRELESS DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM (Proceed to No Answer-Back). Refer to  No Answer-Back 
  4. REPLACE CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY). Refer to  REMOVAL 
  5. PERFORM CUSTOMIZE SETTING (Proceed to Customize Parameters). Refer to  CUSTOMIZE PARAMETERS
