DTC C1A32: Driver Monitor Image cannot be Recognized: Procedure
- CHECK DRIVER MONITOR CAMERA
- Check if the driver monitor camera's lens or LED is covered with a cloth, etc.
- Check if there is anything blocking the driver monitor camera or anything that may interfere with checking the driver's head position.
- Check if the surface of the driver monitor camera is dirty.
OK
There is no obstacle in front of driver monitor camera.
HINT:
When the driver monitor camera has a dirty area or scratches that cannot be removed by wiping, replace it with a new one.
NG → REMOVE OBSTACLE (EXPLAIN TO CUSTOMER REASON FOR MOVING OBSTACLE)
OK: Go to next step
- REPLACE DRIVER MONITOR CAMERA
- Replace the driver monitor camera. Refer to REMOVAL .
NEXT: Go to next step
- CHECK FOR DTC
- Using the Techstream, enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Pre-Collision 2 / Trouble Code.
- Select "Clear" and clear the data.
- Recheck for DTC.
OK
DTC C1A32 is not output.

- REPLACE DRIVER MONITOR ECU
- Replace the driver monitor ECU. Refer to REMOVAL .
NEXT: Go to next step
- CHECK FOR DTC
- Using the Techstream, enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Pre-Collision 2 / Trouble Code.
- Select "Clear" and clear the data.
- Recheck for DTC.

HINT:
After replacing the driver monitor ECU, if the same DTC is output again after the DTC detection conditions are met, replace the driving support ECU.
