DTC C1A24: Object Recognition Camera Image cannot be Recognized: Procedure
- CLEAN OBJECT RECOGNITION CAMERA AND WINDSHIELD GLASS
- Check if the object recognition sensor lens or windshield glass is dirty or scratched. If so, wipe the dirty or scratched area on the lens or glass with a soft cloth.NOTE:
Be careful when wiping the lens or glass as wiping too strongly may cause scratches.
OK
There are no dirty areas or scratches that cannot be removed by wiping.
HINT:
If the dirty area or scratches cannot be removed by wiping, replace the object recognition sensor or windshield glass.
NG → REPLACE OBJECT RECOGNITION CAMERA OR WINDSHIELD GLASS
OK: Go to next step
- Check if the object recognition sensor lens or windshield glass is dirty or scratched. If so, wipe the dirty or scratched area on the lens or glass with a soft cloth.
- CHECK FOR DTC
- Using the Techstream, enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Pre-Collision 2 / Trouble Code.
- Select "Clear" and clear the data.
- Recheck for DTC.

- REPLACE OBJECT RECOGNITION CAMERA
- Replace the object recognition sensor. Refer to REMOVAL .
