How To Proceed With Troubleshooting
HINT:
- Use the following procedure to troubleshoot the rear view monitor system.

- INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE
- Measure the battery voltage with the power switch off.
Standard Voltage
11 to 14 V
If the voltage is below 11 V, replace or recharge the battery before proceeding to the next step.

- CHECK NAVIGATION SYSTEM

- Use the Techstream to check if the CAN Communication System is functioning normally.
- CHECK FOR DTC*
- Check for DTCs and note any codes that are output. Refer to DTC CHECK/CLEAR .
- Clear the DTC. Refer to DTC CHECK/CLEAR .
- Recheck for DTCs. Try to prompt the DTC by simulating the original activity that the DTC suggests.NOTE: The parking assist ECU may store the DTCs of the following system. If DTCs other than those specified in Diagnostic Trouble Code Table of the rear view monitor system are output, refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code Table for the applicable system.
