When either of the following conditions is met (2 trip detection logic):
- During engine warm up after a cold engine start, change in engine coolant temperature sensor output is below threshold
- In the time period between the warm engine being stopped and the subsequent cold engine start, change in engine coolant temperature sensor output below threshold
