Power Seat Power Easy Access System Function does not Operate: Procedure

1. Use the Techstream to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally. Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING .

   OK

   CAN communication DTC is not output.

NG → See step   13 

OK: Go to next step 

1. Check that each function of the power seat operates normally by using the front power seat switch LH. Refer to OPERATION CHECK .

A: Go to next step 

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Driver Seat / Data List.
5. Read the Data List according to the display on the Techstream.

1. Check that the power seat easy access system operates normally when engaging and disengaging the tongue plate of the seatbelt with park (P) selected. Refer to OPERATION CHECK .

   OK

   Power seat power easy access system is normal.

OK → END (FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH LH WAS DEFECTIVE) 

1. Remove the front seat inner belt assembly LH. Refer to REMOVAL .

2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   T14-4 (E) - T14-5 (RDC)	Tongue plate is not engaged	10 kΩ or higher

1. Disconnect the T10 connector from the front power seat switch LH.
2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   T14-4 (E) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω
