Voice Guidance does not Function: Procedure

  1. CHECK NAVIGATION SETTING 
    1. Display the "Voice Settings" screen.
    2. Check that "Off" is not selected.

      OK

      "Off" is not selected.

    NG → SELECT VOICE VOLUME SETTING OTHER THAN "Off" 

    OK: Go to next step 

  2. CHECK NAVIGATION SETTING 
    1. Display the "Voice Settings" screen.
    2. Check that "Auto Voice Guidance" is not "Off".

      OK

      "Auto Voice Guidance" is not "Off".

    NG → TURN AUTO VOICE GUIDANCE "On" 

    OK: Go to next step 

  3. CHECK NAVIGATION SETTING 
    1. Display the "Voice Settings" screen.
    2. Check that "Voice Guidance in All Modes" is not "Off".

      OK

      "Voice Guidance in All Modes" is not "Off".

    NG → TURN VOICE GUIDANCE IN ALL MODES "On" 

    OK: Go to next step 

  4. CHECK AUDIO FUNCTION 
    1. Check that audio system sound can be heard from the front speaker.

      OK

      Sound can be heard.

    NG → See step   5 

    OK → See step   6 

  5. PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE. Refer to  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE 
  6. REPLACE DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION MODULE DISPLAY. Refer to  REMOVAL
